Canadian Dental Care Plan – CDCP

All age groups will be eligible starting June 1, 2025.
Registering Is Easy:
- Call Service Canada at 1-833-537-4342, ext. 1
- Have two pieces of ID ready
- Provide your Social Insurance Number
- Ensure you’ve filed your previous year’s income tax return in Canada and received your Notice of Assessment
Once a person’s eligibility is confirmed, they will receive a Sun Life membership card and a letter confirming the effective date of their dental coverage.

How to Renew Your CDCP Coverage Annually?
Starting in March 2025, all members will be required to take action to renew their coverage.
Once you’ve filed your 2024 income tax return and received your Notice of Assessment from the Canada Revenue Agency, you’ll be ready to renew your coverage online or through your My Service Canada Account (MSCA).

You must re-enrol. Submit your eligibility application before June 1, 2025.

While the CDCP provides financial support, it’s important to note that dental care is not free.
The same rates apply to all patients, whether or not they are covered by the plan.
