Denturology

To help you gradually adapt to your new dentures, start with softer food and gradually increase the consistency.

If you notice any phonetic changes, we recommend reading aloud or repeating the words you find difficult to pronounce more often.

To avoid premature wear of your new dentures, brush them with mild soap or foam cleanser (e.g. Polident), as soap is much less abrasive than toothpaste. You can also soak them overnight in a good cleaning solution such as Novadent or Renew.

To help blood circulation and slow bone resorption in your gums, massage them with a soft-bristled toothbrush and toothpaste.
